Contents Features Robot finds better earlier than other characters.Weapon drops are calculated off of the difficulty number. Difficulty is the number of portals you entered, it determines the amount of enemies spawning in the area.If a weapon is meant to drop on difficulty 11 that would mean the weapon drops in 5-3 from, 5-2 from and 4-1 from (check the ).Robot's passive reduces the difficulty number for weapon drops by 1, (5-2 from enemies, 5-1 from Weapon Chests and 3-3 from Cursed Chests).Special. Robot can eat the it's currently holding and transform it into some ammo and/or HP. Robot can't eat its only weapon. When Robot eats a regular weapon it generates ammo or health equal to one or pickup. If Robot eats a it gains ammo and/or health of an amount equal to four mini pickups.
Eating an will generate one mini pickup and additionally give Robot 14. Eating a will generate one mini pickup and cause Robot to take 7 damage which can be lethal.Gives Robot an additional ammo pickup on top of what it.normally gives you when eating a.

Just got all unlocks! WOO!Some Little Details I Noticed:On the Moon Temple stage, the enemies aren't spawned directly over the entry point- rather, they are spawned to the sides of the screen and walk towards the hole (this was revealed when the screen shook too much, revealing little green legs at the top of the screen)If you lob a grenade down the exit point, it will go to the entry point. If you hold the forward key while firing the minigun, your character stays in one place.SPOILERS!:EDIT: Holy fuck. According to Procrastitracker, I've been playing SCB for 6hrs 58 min and 20 sec.Loggedortoslon.
Vlambeer is also hosting a in-game contest - the highest score on the 'SFMT Official' difficulty on the Construction Yard level by November 14th will win a surprising wealth of Super Crate Box merchandise in a super-limited collectors edition of the game. Only three of such collectors editions will ever be created, the first available through the already launched Papercraft contest.I step out of this contest.
If I'll win (at the moment of posting my score is, 2nd place is 125), I'll ask Vlambeer to send a collectors edition to someone else.« Last Edit: October 26, 2010, 04:52:43 AM by ortoslon »Logged. This game is great fun. Every time I die is because either:1) Flamethrower makes me failjump.2) Grab disc gun and shoot it at wall right away by accident.3) Grenade launcher misses and I walk right into an enemy.4) Equipped with mine and next crate is up at the top w/ fuckloads of enemies.Haha, haven't experienced the third one too much, but the others are definitely my primary causes of death too.I look forward to seeing what happens with that dude in the background in the Moon Temple. I hope it's good!P.S. Happened to check my stats.
Woo, 1337.Logged. Just downloaded the v102 and am still having some trouble with my gamepad. I use a PS3 controller for games on my pc, and the default setups (type A and type B) used in Super Crate Box are both difficult to use. The shoot/jump buttons end up being mapped to Select and L3, which is pretty unusable. So then I tried setting up some key binds in Joy2key. I tried mapping up/left/right/down to the control pad, but run into something unexpected. The Left button on my control pad is where Super Crate Box defaults the ESC key.
So no using the control pad. Well at least the control stick still works. Then I run into another problem. If I try and jump and move at the same time, the game only reacts to one input at a time. For instance, I mapped the jump key to my X button and the shoot key to my Square button. If I am holding left/right and then try to jump, I jump but only straight up. If I time it right, I can be running, release left/right, then jump, and I will move in the air.
This is very difficult to pull off, though. It would be great if you were able to setup the controller configurations in game, but I would at settle for an option to not auto-use or disable the gamepad if it is plugged in. This way I could at least set it up myself in Joy2Key. I am sure there are others out there who use a PS3 controller for their PC gaming and would appreciate this if possible.Other than the controller issues, Super Crate Box is a fantastic game. Just using the keyboard cramps my fingers up quite a bitLogged.
